Have No Fear!!!

......the possum is still here!!
See Casey.......he hasn't gone anywhere........I went out last night to call the cats when I saw something run down the banister, thinking it was a cat.......I turned to get it and quickly realized it was the possum!!! OMG! He's twice the size he was a week ago!! I'll have to take another picture with his head in the food bowl, so you can see what I'm talking about!!

What do these critters think this is....A hotel or something!!! Gees! We're, Actually it's just me feeding them, lol, so, I'm gonna put the bf in the poor house feeding all these guys!!! LOL!!

We haven't had possum's for a while but occasionally, a raccoon will saunter up to the back porch to see what the dogs might have left in their bowl?! I love them but DH doesn't want them nosing around close to the house so he shoots at them with the BB gun (not to maim or kill, of course but to scare off). The last time one went ambling to the edge of the woods, hid behind a tree peeking out at him as if thinking, "Do I know this guy? What's his beef?!" And then there have been the skunks who come scarily close and occasionally let loose their foul odors!

he is kind of cute- but I much prefer the kittens. Animals know a good thing when they see (ahem, I mean taste) it!!

How could you not love a face like that Katie? He is so cute! I know what you mean about going to the poor house feeding critters tho. I buy roasted, unsalted peanuts for the rock squirrels that live behind our back wall. I buy bird blocks and birdseed. Oh and I buy romaine lettuce. The squirrels love that in the summertime. Once you start feeding them, you can't stop. They become part of the family. Adopt a possum! LOL

I think your visiting possum is cute and would love to see him in the real.
Thank you for visiting my blog with your best wishes for my husband. We find out today after further tests.
Everyone has been so caring with sending their best wishes.
Its funny your story about digging in trash. I find it impossible to walk past skips and rubbish day here can drive me nuts nosing at everything.
